Uncertainty: ‘It will be alright on the night or plan for it?’

The global market and business competitive advantage continues to become ever more challenging. The pace of social, technology, political and corporate change  is faster than its ever been but in our opinion ‘as slow as it’s ever going to be in the future’. If this is true, which we believe it is, then planning for the future and embracing scenario planning will be critical for sustainable business success.

There is no greater demonstration of this requirement than in the Supply Chain and Manufacturing sector. Businesses need to learn to plan for a flexible customer focused future rather than a ‘reactive’ crisis management approach. This will require an effective medium to long term focus, strategic execution integrated business planning process (S&OP).

Sign up for the DM Integration Seminar on the 27th November where Dave Manning will lead an interactive presentation and discussion on how IBP/S&OP is an essential process to ensure the future success and sustainability of UK Supply Chain/Manufacturing companies and the UK economy.

Also hear the practical experiences of IBP Implementation from Mark Hamlin – Operation’s Director for Tremco-Illbruck (Ex. Operation’s Director for Henkel Consumer Adhesives).
